At the end of the every year, we always do an end of the year recap of all of the amazing couples and weddings we were blessed to be a part of. It always ends up being a fun little blog that gets a lot of engagetment from our couples and their families. So when someone recently asked us ‘why we don’t do that for portrait sessions too?’ we thought to ourselves? Hmm that’s a good question. We thought about it shortly afterwards and we definitely thought it would be a cool way to highlight and recap all of the amazing couples and families we worked with throughout the year! In addition to 108 weddings & elopements in 2022, we were also fortunate enough to be able to shoot 96 portrait sessions on top of that, and yes if you’re wondering we’re still recovering (lol).
Even though we spend most of our time concentrated on weddings, we get to do a ton family sessions, proposals, engagements, and anniversary sessions throughout the year. 2022 was our first year splitting time between Wyoming and North Carolina so we had a blast getting to work with couples and families from all over the country! It gave us an opportunity to shoot in locations we’ve never shot before, explore beautiful new scenery, and it gave us more of an appreciation of the beautiful terrain we have here in Asheville!
