Epic Summer Wedding at The Parker Mill : B + C

Every year before we make the trip out west from Asheville, we give ourselves a cutoff date. With our wedding and elopement photography schedule on both coasts, it’s hard to know when to say 'hey, we should stay until then or we should arrive by then' because inevitably you end up having to tell at least one sweet couple that you’re not available for their special day. Don’t worry, there won’t be any of that kind of disappointment in this blog. In fact, quite the opposite! Becca and Connor’s big day was our last wedding in WNC before we hit the road and we are so grateful for that! Every year, we get to do look back on everything reviewing all of the amazing couples and families we were blessed to connect with and all of the epic celebrations we were fortunate to be a part of. Becca and Connor’s wedding was easily one of our favorite from this last summer. Sweet as pie, genuine, and super fun are just a few of the ways I would describe this beautiful couple! This was never more apparent than one their wedding at The Parker Mill. We both remember walking in and there being a exciting buzz in the bridal suite and groom’s suite. The ladies circled around for few laughs as Becca received a few finishing hair and make up touches and the fellas were vibing equally as hard gathered around the pool table and shuffle board. I think I even remember my dude Connor getting in a few early dance moves as music filled the air (quite the prelude of the evening to come). We had all but just arrived and it was already looking like it was going to be a perfect wedding day at The Parker Mill and that’s just what it was.

From the first look, to speeches, to their exit, there was truly never a dull or drama filled moment during their day. We usually agree on this end what our favorite part of the day was but we were equally split between these cuties rocking their sunset mountain top photos and the epic dance party that ensued for their reception! (good problem to have). We can’t thank Connor and Becca enough for letting us be a part of their big day and we hope you all enjoy following along!
