Bryson City Wedding: Hemlock Inn

Bryson who? It's okay if you've never heard of it, follow along with us on Judy & Dave's journey throughout their wedding day and get a little taste of what a Bryson City wedding has to offer! Judy & Dave could not have picked a more beautiful day or location for their big day! In fact, leading up to this wedding, we were so excited! Bryson City is one of the small towns we regularly escape to when we need a little peace and relaxation. It's a small town nestled in the mountains of western North Carolina, but unlike Asheville or other popular towns in the area, it has a very small town feel. With mostly family owned and run businesses, it adds that little extra touch to make sure your taken care of. The Hemlock Inn, where Judy & Dave chose to spend their day, was no exception! The Hemlock Inn is a country inn bed and breakfast located 10 minutes from the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and provides a setting for a secluded get away or in our case, an amazing venue for wedding photography complete with beautiful mountain backdrops!

The ceremony site was what makes a western North Carolina wedding so special! As if the beautiful weather wasn't enough, at The Hemlock Inn you are greeted by the bluest skies and an epic mountain landscape that is arguably one of the best we've seen when it comes to wedding venues!

Not only did we have the amazing views like above, but the subtle details of the ceremony site could not go unnoticed.

As Judy made her way down the aisle, you could see the happiness written all over Dave's face as his beautiful fiancé would soon be his wife.

As beautiful as it was outside, we would only be telling half of the story if we didn't highlight the inside of The Hemlock Inn. In fact, the inside of this awesome venue had such a cool feel to it. Rustic elegance with some eccentric decor and when you're done eating the amazing food (so good!), you can enjoy another mountain view from the comfort of the sofa or head out to the patio for a little rocking chair action!

Of course it wouldn't be complete without family & friends...

The dinner was full of laughter, good times, and wonderful toasts, but of course the best part of the day was getting to help tell the story of this amazing couple. One reason it was special for Jenny & I was because we met Judy & Dave about 7 months prior as vendors at the Bridal Expo by Wedding Festivals in Asheville, NC. Soon after we connected, we were fortunate enough not only to have Judy & Dave pick us out for their wedding, among dozens of other amazing & talented Asheville Photographers, but we also became good friends! This allowed us the opportunity to hang out on multiple occasions leading up to their big day and really get to know them both. We've enjoyed every minute of the journey, from game nights to corn hole, but with one of our biggest passions in life being photography, it was one of our most enjoyable times getting to capture their love for each other on camera!

We cannot wait to see what the future holds for Judy and Dave and we are so happy to have been there for their amazing wedding day!
