In October of this year we connected with Katie as she was planning her Asheville wedding from out of town and her awesome wedding planner told her to check us out! After a few email convos and a phone conversation that was full of wedding stories, laughs, and planning details, Katie thought we would be a great fit for her and her fiancé Marc! As many couples often do, Katie informed us that she and Marc had not had any professional photos before and that she may be a little awkward. We re-assured her that she was in good hands, but interesting enough, that concern couldn’t have been further from the truth!
We finally got to meet Katie and Marc for the first time last Friday for their Biltmore engagement session and they were absolutely amazing! Not only was there a complete lack of awkwardness (I mean have you seen these two? SUPER cute!), it literally felt like we were hanging out with two friends! We had the opportunity to connect with Katie beforehand but this was our first time getting to talk to Marc and turns out he’s a guitar guy like me! So as we talked dream guitars and moved about from spot to spot on this particularly windy evening at the Biltmore, the chemistry on camera between Katie and Marc continued and it made for a fun winter engagement!
Afterwards we could think of a few dozen adjectives to describe Katie and Marc, but awkward would NOT be one of them! Their wedding day next September shall be epic and we can't wait!!!
