If you were on facebook at all recently you may have seen one of the absolute cutest couples ever, John and Brittany! John contacted us about a month prior to his surprise proposal to Brittany. He was going to be traveling from Connecticut to the Charlotte, NC area to visit family and while they were in town they were going to take a little day trip to The Biltmore! Little did Brittany know, John was going to be getting down on one knee during this special visit! With all the excitement that can surround a proposal, John’s parent’s as well as Brittany’s were also going to add to the surprise of the moment by coming out after John proposed!
On the day of, we arrived a few minutes early and we were soon greeted by John’s parents who had the excitement written all over their faces! After catching up with them for a few, they went up the hill leading to the Statue of Dianna so they could be out of sight when John and Brittany arrived. Once they arrived on this beautiful late morning, John proceeded to lead Brittany up the hill hand in hand. As they made their way up the hill, John turned towards her and took both of her hands, this was it! From our fly on the wall perspective we can never tell exactly what is being said, but it must have been sweet as she gave John a sweet kiss before he could rise to his feet (that’s totally a yes)! After these two embraced each other closely and smiled, Brittany soon realized they were not alone as family poured in to share in this loving moment!
As if the excitement of the proposal wasn’t enough, John had also arranged time to commemorate this joyous occasion was with engagement photos around The Biltmore! They were complete naturals in front of the camera and they effortlessly showed their love for one another as we moved around to some of our favorite shady spots on this sunny morning!
