Connection. We are firm believers that photography with real couples is all about it. Sure you absolutely have to know what you’re doing in terms of composition, lighting, camera settings, all of this certainly comes into play, but beyond this, connection is what it’s all about. Capturing that connection between two people. Connecting with people when you’re on one side of the lens and they are on the other, and ultimately, connecting to their story. One of the couples we have been blessed to connect with in the past few years was Kacie and Jonathan! We first met them when we captured Jonathan surprise proposal at The Biltmore to Kacie! Amidst the excitement and joy from that sweet moment, we were able to hit if off with these two as we moved around the estate to capture some engagement photos! Even though this was almost two years ago now, they asked us if we would be willing to capture their wedding, to which we responded ABSOLUTELY! These two were a pleasure to work with, as sweet as they come and we could hardly wait to see them again, now all we had to do was wait!
Well time seemingly flew by because in the last couple months, Kacie had her bridal session and these two said I do a few weeks after! This is where I would usually tell you about our favorite part of their wedding day, but truthfully, there were so many highlights it was hard to pick a favorite (lol). The ladies started our day off with hair & make up and a ton of laughs! The fellas picked up right where the ladies left off. Their wedding ceremony was held under two massive oak trees in the middle of the field at Windy Hill Wedding & Event Barn which made for a beautiful natural lay out. They kiki challenged into the ceremony! They picked up right where they left off last time we got to put these cuties in front of our lens for couples photos. The Clemson Tiger himself came to visit, and last but certainly not least, the dance floor was absolutely hoppin from the moment the DJ opened it up! There wasn’t a dull moment from beginning to end on this perfect summer day and we hope you enjoy follow along on Kacie & Jonathan’s wedding!
