Homewood Wedding Asheville: Laura + Kevin

There is no venue we have visited more in the past 3 years than Homewood! We often joke with our couples who get married there that it’s our home away from home. While we love the opportunity to travel to new destinations and shoot at new places with new backdrops and settings, for us shooting at Homewood only seems to get better! Laura and Kevin's beautiful fall wedding was no exception! The fall colors hit a little late in some spots this year and the foliage surrounding Homewood was one of those places, especially “The Tree!” (you’ll know it when you see it)

If being at our favorite venue surrounded by fall color wasn’t enough, Laura and Kevin were one of the coolest couples we’ve had he pleasures of getting to know over this past year! We first met Laura at The Wedding Festivals in Charleston in early 2018 and we could immediately tell we were going to love getting to capturing their big day! We had just met her and it felt like we were hanging with an old friend. Her joyful personality and bright smile could easily light up any room! We later connected with her and Kevin while traveling for engagement sessions and they took us to “The Obstinate Daughter”. The food was delightful, the company was awesome, and after getting to connect with Laura and Kevin, we left Charleston truly feeling like we gained two new friends vs ‘getting to know clients’.

Their wedding day was as perfect as we imagined it would be! Laura and Kevin invited their closest friends and family to celebrate with them on their special day and celebrate they did! The day was filled with laughs, sweet dance floor moves, and a band that helped them rock the entire night away! Of course our favorite part of the day were the couples photos with Laura and Kevin! In just about every interaction we witnessed with these two, there was rarely an instance where we didn’t smile along with them. They were the epitome of happiness and we hope you enjoy following along on their special day!
