There are few other scenic locations in our area that have the sort of popularity of Max Patch! This high knob is known for it’s 360 degree mountain views, beautiful sunsets showing multiple layers of mountains in the background, and a spot to go relax or camp with friends! It’s also become super popular amongst our couples for engagement photos! After experiencing this beautiful place in person, it’s easy to see why. The summit provides such a beautiful vantage point to enjoy some of the best views WNC has to offer. The short, moderately strenuous hike is reasonable for most visitors, and it’s also surrounded by tree lines and plenty of forest if you’re looking to explore. One of our most recent visits to Max Patch was for Lauren & Kevin’s engagement session! We could tell from the long email chain that Lauren was super excited about planning her wedding and engagement! After discussing multiple options, her heart was set on Max Patch! Looking back now, I don’t she could’ve picked a better location for her and Kevin. What we took away most from their engagement was how much fun these two were! Their playful manner and chemistry on camera were second to none. Combine that with the natural beauty of our location and it’s easy to see why this was one of our favorite engagement sessions from last Summer! We hope you enjoy following along!
