As wedding photographers, we get pretty spoiled here in the Asheville / WNC area! We’re surrounded by some the oldest and some of the most beautiful mountains in the world! We get to shoot during all four seasons, and in general that seems to attract some of the coolest couples! We really are a mecca in the southeastern US for all things outdoors and nature lovers, and of course, tying the knot! When it comes to wedding venues in this beautiful area, you’re hard pressed to find a place that showcases all of this beauty quite like The Vineyards at Betty’s Creek! It has long been one of our favorite venues in North Carolina! The Vineyards at Betty’s Creek is nestled among the beautiful blue ridge mountains in a small town called Sylva (where we call home) just a short trip west from Asheville. It’s vibrant and diverse property have made it one of the most popular wedding venues in the area. There’s very few places that can offer the all of the different elements that The Vineyards at Betty’s Creek possesses. Whether the combination of gorgeous facilities and vineyards is what resonates with your wedding vision, the long range mountain views, or the ever changing look of the venue from spring through fall, there truly is something for everyone at this special place!
Our most recent trip to VBC was for Tiffanie and Shayan’s wedding this spring! Let me start off by saying, we absolutely adore this couple! From the first consult call, to our group hug goodbye on their wedding day, our time spent with these two was simply wonderful. When I say these two were buzzing with excitement on their wedding day, I truly mean from beginning to end! Not only could you feel it from them, but also their friends & family who were all just as excited as they were to see this beautiful couple say I do! One of the things we loved most about working with them was getting to document that excitement. They let us know when we first connected, they wanted beautiful couple’s portraits showcasing their love and the surroundings, but they wanted an emphasis on their connection and interactions with all of their loved ones. Their friends and family could not have made that easier! It was one laugh and tender moment after the other, all rooted in love. Combine this with the allure of The Vineyards at Betty’s Creek, and it’s easy to see why this wedding was one of our absolute favorites of 2025 so far!
