Asheville Wedding at Homewood: K + C

A couple of things before we dive right into this one. Yes, you will love this bride and groom. Yes, their wedding day rocked, and yes they allowed us to venture out a little for their wedding day, which we absolutely loved! Kiera and Cade got married at the beginning of March this year and their wedding was celebrated at Homewood in Asheville, NC! Not only is this one of our favorite venues, but Keira and Cade are on of our favorite couples we’ve been blessed to connect with over the past few years! If they look familiar, you probably saw some of their beautiful engagement session at Black Balsam Knob! These two were as at ease as they come on camera, and one of our favorite things about them is they aren’t afraid to laugh. In fact, I would say Kiera’s smile and laugh are so contagious that it’s hard not to smile or laugh when you’re in the same room. They are just that genuine, sweet, and caring couple that you can’t help but love! One of our favorite parts of their wedding day (besides all of them!) was actually near the end! I can explain lol. The way their timeline broke down we were going to end up with some extra time at the end of their reception. So, Kiera and Cade decided it would be fun to head to downtown Asheville for some fun night portraits! Night portraits are fast becoming one of our favorite options for capturing images of the bride and groom during a wedding day. Add in the night time city scape of the town we love, and we were so stoked for this little bit of extra time! Looking back our only regret was Kiera and Cade invited us to grab some drinks with them after we finished up. We’ve both been on a pretty big fitness kick this year trying to avoid cake and all the other indulgences that come with being a part of a wedding every weekend so we mindfully declined. In our minds there’s always another time. Little did we know it would be one of the last opportunities we’d have to hangout downtown with friends! So Kiera, Cade, this rain check may take a little longer than we anticipated but we are totally looking forward to seeing you both again!
