So technically our last wedding of the year in 2019 was the first wedding of the year for 2020! That’s because Josh and Petey decided to be rad and have their reception go past midnight into the New Year! If 2019 was the year of the party (which it totally felt like) then Josh and Petey’s big day was the proverbial cherry on top and the perfect way to end one chapter while beginning another! I remember sitting at our apartment counter at the time when we hopped on the phone with Petey and she started telling us the vision for her and Josh’ big day! After she explained what she envisioned there was no doubt in our mind that this was going to be a perfect match and it just so happened to be at one of our favorite local venues, Homewood!
When we finally got to meet Josh and Petey in person, they welcomed us open arms and made us feel like one of the gang and let me tell you, once we got to know their friends and family, we knew it was going to be a party! It was one of those crews where everybody knows everybody from the bridal party to the groom’s party and nobody was afraid to be themselves! This atmosphere made for many tearful & sweet moments throughout their day, but it also paved the way for one of the best wedding receptions we’ve ever been a part of, not to mention a New Year’s eve that I think everyone will remember for year’s to come. It was the pinnacle of celebrations with the highlight being on the love these two share! We hope you enjoy following along!
